Accessibility Statement

We want the public directory to be usable by people with different abilities, devices, browsers, and assistive technologies.

Our target

SubsTX uses the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA as its current design and development target. We have not established full-site conformance to that standard.

Measures in the current site

  • Semantic headings, landmarks, lists, tables, links, and native disclosure controls where practical.
  • Keyboard-accessible navigation and controls with visible focus behavior.
  • A Skip to content link at the start of each page. The mobile menu can be closed with Escape.
  • Responsive layouts intended to remain readable without horizontal page scrolling at common mobile sizes.
  • Text alternatives or accessible names for meaningful controls and visual elements.
  • Reduced-motion settings that disable smooth scrolling when your device requests less motion.
  • Contrast and touch-target review as part of the public-page QA process.

Ongoing review

Accessibility work is ongoing, and automated checks cannot identify every barrier. Directory content also changes as company records and city pages are updated. If a page is difficult to use, contact us with the details below.

Browser support and limitations

The main directory links and page content can be read without JavaScript. Checking or clearing an earlier saved choice on the Cookies and Analytics page requires JavaScript and access to browser storage; you can also remove site data through your browser settings.

Linked Google Maps profiles and other third-party services have their own interfaces and accessibility support. If those services prevent you from finding directory information, you can request assistance from SubsTX.

Email contact@substx.com with the page address, a short description of the problem, and—if you are comfortable sharing it—the browser, device, or assistive technology involved. You may also request directory information in a reasonable alternative format.

We will review accessibility messages and work toward a practical response or alternative. Response time can vary with the issue; this statement does not promise a fixed resolution period.

Assessment approach

The current statement is based on internal review of templates, keyboard behavior, responsive presentation, and representative public pages. These checks do not establish compatibility with every browser, screen reader, or other assistive technology. This statement will be updated when the assessment method or conformance status materially changes.
